Imaginary Authors Instagram Giveaway Rules - TLOG

Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years or older. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and immediate family members of Imaginary Authors and its affiliates are not eligible.

Sponsor: The giveaway is sponsored by Imaginary Authors, located at Portland, OR 97206. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Imaginary Authors as final and binding.

Giveaway Period: Starts on February 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM PST and ends on February 21, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST.

How to Enter: Follow @ImaginaryAuthors on Instagram, comment on the specified giveaway post with a memory related to The Language of Glaciers, and tag two friends. Multiple entries from the same person are allowed but must be different entries.

Entry Requirements: Entries must be the entrant’s original work, must not infringe third-party rights, must be suitable for publication (i.e., not obscene or indecent), and must not contain harmful or illegal content. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

Winner Selection: Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Prizes: Two winners will each receive a 50ml bottle of The Language of Glaciers perfume. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted except at Imaginary Authors' discretion. The prize is non-transferable.

Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within five (5) days following selection. Imaginary Authors shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for a winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

Rights Granted by You: By entering this contest, you understand and agree that Imaginary Authors, anyone acting on behalf of Imaginary Authors, and Imaginary Authors’ licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the giveaway, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

Terms & Conditions: Imaginary Authors reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Imaginary Authors’ control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway.

Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Imaginary Authors and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the giveaway and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the giveaway; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the giveaway or the processing of entries.

Disputes: THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND OREGON, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this giveaway, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Oregon having jurisdiction.
